Install it on every computer in the hospital: reception, the consulting rooms, the pharmacy, the laboratory and the cashier. After that it keeps itself up to date.

What is new

Installing it

  1. 1Run the file you downloaded. It installs for the person signed in to Windows and does not need an administrator.
  2. 2If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway. Windows says this about any program it has not seen many times before; the SHA-256 on the left proves the file is ours.
  3. 3Open Fikacare and enter your hospital's pairing code from the portal. Your administrator approves the computer, and it is ready.

Updates

  • The app looks for a new version when it starts and every few hours, downloads it in the background and says so at the top of the screen. Update now installs it and reopens the app in under a minute.
  • Every update is signed by Fikacare and checked before it runs. The hospital's records stay where they are.
  • The main computer downloads each update once and shares it with the others over the hospital's network.
